Naturally gluten-free Thai Pandan rice cake: A ...

Add pandan prepared a mass drops and stir. This makes the dough a bright shade of green. Add more if you want dark the first layer, or less if you want lighter. Aside from the color, adds pandanus pulp a delicious taste of this cake.

FYI - Pandan Note: In Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries, real pandan leaves instead be store-bought dough used. Because the cost of pandanus leaves are hard to find in North America, however, I use store-bought this paste (in most grocery stores in Asia / China - just ask for it).

Sometimes I can buy frozen pandanus leaves, but the gel appears to reduce the taste, so I always disappointed with the results.
