If you serve this dish at a party, try to cut into thirds or quarters rolls, then put on a plate (see photo). That makes good finger food or appetizer. Serve as is or with a sauce for dips, see recommendations below .:
Sauces:
- For easy sauce, served with Thai sweet chili sauce (available in the Asian section of most supermarkets or Asian grocery stores)
- These roles are also very well served with hoisin sauce (available in most grocery stores in the Asian region).
- A Thai sauce is simply combine equal parts of soy sauce and fish sauce with fresh sliced peppers. In net lime juice also.
- If you prefer a sweet, not spicy sauce (especially if there are children), try this easy dip: Mix 3 tablespoons. Plum sauce with 1 tsp. Soy sauce.
- Presonally I prefer Summer Rolls with me: Simply Thai peanut sauce / dip recipe. Made with real peanuts (not peanut butter), this sauce is delicious and authentic Thai.
Can be made summer rolls several hours in advance, then just cover and refrigerate: Make Ahead Tip. Shortly before the guests arrive, and cut on a tray with the chosen sauce (which can be prepared well in advance). Have fun!
