If all or most of the liquid is gone, turn off the heat, but leave the pan on the burner. Put the lid firmly and let the rice sit for at least 5 minutes. The internal heat of the rice cooker is to create "steam" a nice finish slightly sticky.
Tip: You let the rice stand in this way to eat until ready. It will stay hot and humid to 1.5 hours - handy when you have guests!
