A very brief guide Pandan Leaves

Definition: Pandan is a herbaceous tropical plant with long green leaves. In South Asia, pandanus leaves are used to provide a unique flavor and aroma of many Thai desserts and drinks. Pandanus leaves can also be used to salty foods such as chicken (see recipe link below) will develop. Pandan paste is used in cakes and desserts, because it is soft and permeates the food with a light green color. It is to be used as a ready to use paste in Asian specialty stores product. If bought fresh pandan leaves must be performed in a paste for use in desserts, adding water moderation.
