I personally liked my mother's chicken soup when I was a kid, but now that I'm older, the Thai version is the recipe I go. Nothing is as wonderful flavor, or as calming as this soup. It is a good choice if you are fighting a cold or flu, but I find it an excellent means for the mind, especially as the days begin to shorten and the sun, we see less and less. This soup just gives me always the boost I need. What distinguishes them from normal chicken soup is his special brew of chicken with garlic, ginger, lemon juice and fresh herbs cooked and a swirl of coconut milk for added richness (no fat / calorie cream). If you like chicken soup, be sure to give it a try. It may only be your go-to recipe for soup season.
